North East architect designs National Football Centre
Newcastle architect's Redbox Design Group have designed the National Football Centre at St George's Park in Burton, near Staffordshire.
The £105 million complex was officially opened today by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The 330 acre complex includes 12 full-size training pitches and state of the art medical and sports science centres.
The complex aims to produce better players to give England the best chance of becoming a major footballing force.
