The Duchess of Cambridge will be in the North East today carry out royal duties.
The Duchess will begin her day in Newcastle where she will meet Olympic games volunteers, torchbearers and pupils from the Percy Hedley Foundation.
She will then go onto Elswick Park and Gateshead and end her day in Stockton where she will meet young drug users.
