The popularity of the Duchess of Cambridge was evident wherever she went. Young and old waited in the Autumn sunshine hoping to catch a glimpse of Kate. And they weren't disappointed.
She spent time at a number of projects and charities which she herself had chosen to visit. But she also made sure there was plenty of time for a walkabout wherever she went.
