David Cameron paid a warm tribute during Prime Minister's Questions to Sir Stuart Bell, the Labour MP for Middlesbrough who died on Saturday.
Sir Stuart had held the seat for nearly 30 years.
The Prime Minister described him as a hugely popular MP "whose kindness transcended the political divide".
