Serious crash scene in Newcastle
Here are the pictures of the scene of a serious crash which happened in Newcastle in the early hours of this morning.
A male pedestrian was hit by a car on the B1318 Great North Road, near Jesmond at some time before 2:27am. The 19-year-old is in a critical condition at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Police have arrested five people in connection with the incident.
