A man who stabbed his estranged partner to death with a foot-long kitchen knife has been jailed for life.
Graham Gibson was convicted last month of the manslaughter of Christine Henderson in Hartlepool, a week after she ended their 18-month relationship.
He was told he would spend at least seven-and-a-half years in prison and would be released only when it was considered he was no longer a danger to the public.
