Health Secretary to rule on future of Friarage
At a meeting held by North Yorkshire County Council last night, the council agreed to refer plans to downgrade children's services at Northallerton's Friarage Hospital to the Health Secretary.
If plans were to go ahead some services would be transferred to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
