Rain is expected to push north Saturday evening, turning heavy overnight for a time. The Met Office have issued a Yellow 'Be Aware' warning for up to 30mm rainfall by lunchtime on Sunday. As this will fall on already saturated ground dangerous driving conditions and localised flooding is possible.
The warning is currently in force from midnight until 10am on Sunday - when the rain is then expected to journey north-east and leave drier & brighter conditions for the afternoon.
A brief spell of better weather is interrupted by another low to the south-west, bringing more rain for Sunday night.
