Gemma Nelson's two-year-old son Jack has a rare genetic disease which means his health will deteriorate and he's unlikely to live to be a teenager.
Jack, from Sunderland, has been selected for a drug trial which could prolong his life and help several other children, but six hundred thousand pounds needs to be raised before the study can go ahead.
An anonymous donor contacted the Wicked Genes charity offering a million pounds to fund the trial and raise awareness to help more children. After claiming to have sent the money he's disappeared without donating a penny, dashing the hopes of families.
