The Environment Agency have announced that the Flood Warning for the River Skerne at Darlington is no longer in force.
No further flooding is currently expected in this area, but Flood Warnings and Alerts may still remain in force for surrounding areas.
River levels have begun to fall, but remain high, with water in the fields in some areas.
The Environment Agency is warning the public that the flood water may still be around for several days and could be contaminated.
