Former Minister for the Region criticises lack of dualling for A1

Once a month Transport Ministers come to the Commons to take questions on a variety issues relating to the nation's road, rail and air infrastructure.

Every month they also face demands from North East MPs for the A1 to be dualled north of Newcastle.
