Young sailor scoops international award
A sailor who takes young people from across the north of England on a sailing experience has won an international award.
Grace Metcalfe from Garsdale, Cumbria is the skipper of The James Cook.
It is her commitment to helping those young people that has won her the award.
She is the skipper of the James Cook - a Tyneside build boat and was named the "Young Sail Trainer of the Year" by organisers of the Tall ships race.
