ROAD: A1(M) - SOUTHBOUND, TYNE AND WEAR
Severe delays on the A1(M) southbound from J65 A194(M) / A1 / A1231 / B1288 Birtley to J63 A167 / A183 (Chester-le-Street) - congestion on A1 to A19 (Seaton Burn Roundabout).
The top end of the A1(M) and the entire Western Bypass are severely delayed due to ice and snow and congestion on other surrounding roads.
