ROAD UPDATE: A697 - BOTH DIRECTIONS, MORPETH, NORTHUMBERLAND
The A697 in both directions re-opened - traffic returned to normal, accident cleared between A1 (Morpeth) and West Road (Longhorsley).
The road had been closed between Wooler and Morpeth North since 11:30am.
