Collapsed cliff in Whitby inching towards buildings and businesses
Just nine days after bad weather caused a landslip, which forced the evacuation and demolition of five houses in Whitby, another landslip is causing more problems
Earth from a collapsed cliff face near the Kipper smokehouse is inching towards buildings and businesses below but the local council say there is no immediate danger to the public.
The council says its engineers have been discussing what work could be carried out to help slow or stop the landslide.
