Sunderland schoolboy assaulted
Police are appealing for information after a teenager was assaulted in Sunderland.
A 14-year-old boy was standing with friends at the bus stop opposite the mosque on Ryhope Road in Sunderland just before three o'clock on November 30th when a jogger appeared to misunderstand what was being said.
The jogger then turned back and punched the teenager in the face, bursting his lip.
The jogger is:
- A white male
- Around 30-years-old
- 6 feet tall and of athletic build
- Browny-blonde hair
- With a scar on his right cheek
The jogger was wearing a blue coloured long sleeved Skins top with grey gloves and long grey Skins bottoms with a stripe down the side. He was also wearing running shoes.
