Alan Pardew on Europa League Draw

Newcastle United Boss Alan Pardew admits he'll have to do his homework on the Magpies Europa League opponents from the Ukraine.

Newcastle were paired with Metallist Kharkiv in today's knock-out draw. The Magpies will be at home in the first leg, on February the 14th 2013, before travelling to the Ukraine a week later.

Pardew said today, "It's a long journey, I know that, and they won their group, so it's a tough agenda for us. It was a tough draw in terms of the travel. The opposition I know very little about, I can't even comment on that until such time as we do such studying."
