Man stabbed to death in South Shields
Police have released a photograph of a man who was stabbed to death in South Shields.
25-year-old David Arthur Charlton, from the South Shields area, was attacked on Friday evening.
A 31 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
