Pensioner hurt in Middlebrough car park collision

Cleveland Police has launched an investigation after a 79-year-old woman was injured in a collision in a Middlesbrough car park.

The incident took place on Boxing Day in a car park close to the Spar shop on Acklam Road in the town between 6pm and 6.30pm when the woman was walking across the car park.

The woman later went to James Cook University Hospital where she received treatment for bruises and cuts on her body and face.
