The year has ended on a high for a man from Middlesbrough - he won a million pounds on the Euro Millions Christmas Day lottery.
Lighting and sound technician Andrew Garth was hosting a party when he discovered his win. The twenty-nine year old will be ringing in the New Year with friends in Amsterdam.
