Music stars from across the North East gathered to play a special gig in a bid to try and save one of the region's iconic buildings.
Performers at The Cluny included former Lindisfarne member Steve Daggett and the folk group Prelude. Stars - including Daggett and Roxy Music drummer Paul Thompson have recorded a CD as part of a campaign to save Newcastle's City Hall.
It has played host to many famous musical acts, but now faces closure as part of council cost-cutting measures.
