Home Secretary pays tribute to North Yorks officer

Speaking in the House of Commons today, the Home Secretary Theresa May has paid tribute to PC Andrew Bramma, the North Yorkshire police officer who died on Friday whilst answering a 999 call.

A police officer has died in a road accident while answering an emergency call. The officer was killed when his patrol vehicle collided with a tree in the village of West Tanfield, near Ripon, at 7pm on Saturday, North Yorkshire Police said.
