Statement read out from son of Redcar woman in court
A woman originally from Redcar has appeared in front of a court in Bali today charged with drug trafficking.
During the hearing today Mrs Sandiford's lawyer read out a statement from her son.
If found guilty, Mrs Sandiford could spent fifteen years in jail.
– Statement from son of Lindsay Sandiford"I love my mother very much and have a very close relationship with her.
I know that she would do anything to protect me.
I cannot imagine what I would do if she was sentenced to death in relation to these charges."
