Darlington Council must reduce its spending by 17 million pounds by 2017 following proposed council cuts.
The 17 million pounds figure is in addition to the 24 million pounds of savings that it has already has planned.
The council is now reviewing every service that it currently offers to establish which will survive after the cuts are made.
