A previous X Factor contestant has reacted to the news that a Bishop Auckland college is offering a course on auditioning for ITV talent show The X Factor. Emily McNamee, who made it through to the live shows in 2008 with her girl band Bad Lashes, says it's completely down to the individual.
"I don't think there is any course that can train you on auditioning, or the process of how the X Factor works. It is completely down to an individual and their natural talent. If you've got it you've got it. However, I know people who I believe to be amazingly talented, just as good if not better than this year's winner, who didn't made the cut. It's not just the voice it's the whole package and who can teach that?"
