Marco Oswald, from Ferryhill, was on a night out in Durham last May when he was attacked in the Claypath area.
The reconstructive surgery that he has had to have after having his ear bitten off has cost ten thousand pounds.
However, Marco told us that there is more than just financial cost and physical scarring to deal with.
