Newcastle's Gouffran bid rejected
Bordeaux are understood to have rejected a bid from Newcastle United for striker Yoan Gouffran.
French newspapers have reported that the Magpies made an offer of around 750,000 euros (£630,000) for the 26-year-old, which was turned down. It's believed the Ligue 1 side have put a price tag of one million euros on the France Under-21 international, who has six months remaining on his contract.
Gouffran, who joined Bordeaux from Caen in 2008, has scored 11 goals in 22 games this season.
