French side Nancy have confirmed that a deal has been reached with Newcastle United for defender Massaido Haidara.
It's understood the 20-year-old is now travelling to Tyneside to undergo a medical and complete the transfer.
The Ligue 1 club announced the deal in a statement on their official website. It reads: "After 46 games in two-and-a-half-years under the jersey ASNL, Massadio Haidara is leaving his former club for Newcastle United, currently sixteenth in the Premier League."
The Magpies will also hope to complete the signing of Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa this week.
