Plans have been unveiled for a major expansion of the Port of Tyne.
The investment would help it to tap in to the boom in renewable energy.
The port wants to build new facilities to import wood pellets, which would be burned in the country's power stations.

The remaining two anti-fracking protestors who climbed a rig at a live well site in Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire, have been removed.
