Newcastle United player reportedly questioned on suspicion of rape
The Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger has been arrested on suspicion of rape, sources have said.
Northumbria Police said they were investigating an alleged incident at a hotel in Jesmond on Wednesday evening. Officers arrested a 21-year-old man in Forest Hall.
