Temporary chief to take Cleveland job full-time
The temporary chief constable of Cleveland Police has been recommended for the job on a permanent basis.
Jacqui Cheer took charge of the force in October 2011, after the suspension of the former chief constable Sean Price.
Her appointment will be confirmed at a meeting next week.
