Frenchman Moussa Sissoko says he can't wait to get started on the latest chapter of his career.
The midfielder, who has spent ten years with Toulouse, put pen to paper on a six and a half year deal at St James' Park yesterday.
Sissoko is the fifth French player to sign for Newcastle in the January transfer window, bringing the total number of French speakers there to 13.
The player, who will wear the number 7 shirt, was unveiled at a press conference this morning.
