Man found with neck wounds
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Newcastle.
Police were called to St Nicholas Cathedral in the early hours of 27th January.
Officers found a 28-year-old man with a neck wound, possibly from broken glass.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary where he remains. His injuries are not likfe threatening.
