WEATHER: Overnight into Monday

Showers ease towards midnight. It will become mainly dry with clear spells, allowing temperatures to dip and hover just above freezing. A frost is possible in places sheltered from the wind.


A cold but bright start initially but cloud will thicken and rain will develop from the west, pushing onto the Pennines by lunchtime. Winds will be strong and gusty over hills.

Localised flooding is possible as the last of the snow melts and the rain becomes heavy during in the afternoon. 7C
