WEATHER: Overnight into Monday
Rain from the northwest overnight, becoming light and patchy as it pushes southeast.
Cold and very windy weather following to the north by dawn.
Monday is a day of sunshine and showers with very strong winds. Showers will become more developed and turn increasingly wintry as the day progresses
There is a Met Office warning in place for the hills: squally snow showers creating difficult driving conditions. 5-10cm snow cover possible over higher routes with some drifting. Gusts to 50mph.
