A body has been found in Blyth after officers were led to the address in Holywell after an earlier car crash/
Police were called to Bertram Place in Shiremoor just after 11 o'clock this morning after they received a report of a car crashing into a lamp post.
A woman was taken to the RVI, where she is believed to be in a serious condition.
Enquiries at the scene of the crash led officers to an address in Holywell, where they forced entry in the house and found the body of a woman inside.
