Planning for a controversial multi-million pound scheme to build homes on a popular golf course in Durham will be decided later today.
Campaigners in favour of the scheme at Mount Oswald Golf Club say that the development will bring in hundreds of jobs for the area.
However, protestors against the development say that it will take up green space and have a devastating effect upon the area's wildlife.
