Jacqui Cheer has been formally appointed as the new Chief Constable of Cleveland Police.
The new Chief Constable has held the post temporarily since 2011, when the force sacked former Chief Constable Sean Price following a disciplinary hearing.
She has officially been confirmed in the post today.
