Wearside MP Bridget Phillipson is calling for the proposed new law on anti-social behaviour to tackle private landlords who ignore the impact some of their tenants have on the local neighbourhood.
The Home Affairs Select Committee is considering the Government's proposals and will publish its findings in the next few days.
