A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 33-year-old Middlesbrough man.
Police were called to an inident in Cornforth Avenue, Middlesbrough, at 3.30am on Saturday morning. The man was rushed to James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries but later died.
A 38-year-old Middlesbrough man has been arrested in connection with the incidnet and is currently being questioned.
