Four men who turned their homes into cable stripping factories have been jailed.
Brothers Joshua and Thomas Bruce, from Yarm Road in Stockton pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods at Teesside Crow Court on 8th February. James Anderson and Stephen Daumler, from Addison Road in Middlesbrough, also pleaded guilty.
The court heard how the men targeted railway lines and power networks to take and sell 2,764kg of cable valued at £9,098.
Josua Bruce and James Anderson were both jailed for 16 months. Thomas Bruce was given a 27 month sentence, and Stephen Daumler received 12 months behind bars.
