Men in the North East are among the top spenders when it comes to buying for their loved ones on Valentine's Day.
- Men in York spend an average £62.67
- Men in Newcastle fork out £43.77
- Men in Aberdeen spent the least - under £10
The study, conducted by hotel chain Travelodge, also found Britons are spending 98 million pounds more this Valentine's Day compared to 2012.
2000 people were surveyed.
