Police have renewed their appeal for information, and have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to, following an assault in Newcastle on Boxing Day last year.
Officers were called to the Chase Bar, Sandhill, on Newcastle Quayside at 10.35pm on December 26th following reports of a fight.
When officers arrived at the bar, they found that a man had suffered a facial injury after being struck with a broken wine bottle.
The injured 20-year-old man was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary for treatment and was later discharged.
Police have previously appealed for witnesses to come forward and have now released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to about the incident.
Officers believe the men may have important information about what took place.
Anyone with any information should contact Northumbria Police on the 101 non-emergency number or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
