Crackdown on anti-social behaviour

A five day blitz on anti-social behaviour starts in South Moor Credit: ITV Tyne Tees

A week long blitz is beginning to tackle anti-social behaviour in the County Durham town of Stanley.

The operation, in the South Moor area, will focus on teenage drinking, speeding motorists and noisy neighbours. It is a response to concerns raised by local people.

Neighbourhood wardens and Police Community Support Officers will carry out extra patrols during the week.
