Overnight: Any organised sleet and snow has broken up and moved away. Thicker cloud off the north sea could still bring wintry showers overnight and possibly a dusting in places by dawn. The Met Office snow warning is replaced with an ice warning as a widespread frost develops. Lows of -2C
Sunday: West is best for sunshine. A mainly dry day but a few showers possible in the east for the morning. It will remain cold with a high of 4C and a raw northeast breeze, that will really peg back the struggling temperatures - especially for the North Sea coastline.
As High Pressure and settled weather moves south & east, milder & (eventually) more unsettled conditions develop from the south and west.
After a week of temperatures struggling to get much higher than zero, the week ahead provides a slight improvement.
Calm and clear conditions have led to some amazing sunrise and sunset pictures from across our region.
