Man threatened with knife
An 89 year old man from South Shields is recovering after he was threatened with a knife during a burglary in South Shields.
The incident happened at 8.30pm on Monday 25th February at an address in Mortimer Road. The victim suffered minor injuries. Northumbria Police are appealing for information.
