York City have appointed former Northern Ireland boss Nigel Worthington has their new manager.
The 51-year-old replaces outgoing manager Gary Mills, who was sacked after Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Bradford. A poor run of results has left them just four points above the relegation zone.
As well as Northern Ireland, Worthington has previously managed Blackpool, Norwich City and Leicester City.
