Middlesbrough legend, Bernie Slaven, is going to run the New York half marathon for Diabetes, and he could end up doing it in a Newcastle or Sunderland shirt. He says he will run in the shirt belonging to the club whose fans donate the most.
Newcastle's Malcolm Macdonald and Sunderland's Micky Horswill are having a lot of fun while supporting him. They were all at a race day in Gosforth to kick of the fundraising and raise awareness about diabetes.
