New School Food Plan aims to get more children having school lunches

Teachers, parents and cooks have been getting together on Tyneside to help shape the future of school food nationally.

Benfield School in Newcastle has hosted one of seven roadshows being held throughout the country to help improve school meals.

Restaurant owner Henry Dimbleby has been given the task of coming up with a new School Food Plan for the Government.

He told ITV News that he wants to get more children to eat school lunch.
