Britain's oldest RAF war veteran dies in Redcar
A man who was believed to have been Britain's oldest RAF war veteran has died.
Harry Lewis from Hartlepool passed away at the age of 101 at a residential home in Redcar.
The war veteran served with the Royal Air Force for over six years before leaving at the end of the Second World War.
The great-grandfather was also thought to have been one of the oldest former RAF pilots in the world.
